BOOTH AND BOULDEN TO CHALLENGE
FOR AED 1 MILLION PURSE AT YAS

29 January 2016

Carly Booth and Amy Boulden are just two of the lady professional stars who will take to Yas Links for the mixed Abu Dhabi Invitational over the weekend.

23-year-old Booth has plenty of pro-am experience, having played her first at the age of just 12. On that occasion, at the 2005 British Masters, she lined up alongside fellow Scot Sandy Lyle. Booth played her first professional event aged 14 and went on to win the Scottish Open at 19.

Welsh star Boulden has been playing the Ladies' European Tour since 2014, when she won the Rookie of the Year award. The 22-year-old has already arrived at Yas Links, and today put in some putting practice with Booth and fellow pro David Horsey.

All professionals, both male and female, will play off the same tees on Sunday as they chase a share of the AED 1 million prize fund.

In addition to playing for the big money on Sunday, Booth and Boulden will take part in a 'Beat the Pro' challenge as groups play the eighth hole during the all-amateur individual competition tomorrow.

Another well-known lady star expected to make the journey to Yas Links is Emma Cabrera-Bello. The Spaniard is the sister of Rafael Cabrera-Bello, who will also be at Yas Links to play in the pro-am on Sunday.
