Haydn Porteous, winner of the 'Keepy-Uppy' challenge at today's Abu Dhabi Invitational, has donated his prize to tonight's charity auction at Yas Marina Circuit.

The South African, who won the Joburg Open on the European Tour just two weeks ago, won a football signed by all the competitors after an impressive 117 'keepy-uppys' with a wedge and a golf ball. But his reward will instead be sold off for Emirates Red Crescent at this evening's gala function.

This is just one kind charity gesture made by a competitor at this year's Abu Dhabi Invitational. Yesterday, $14 000 was donated to the cause for the birdies made on par threes in the individual Amateur Championship.

Porteous scored a one-under-par 71 in today's individual professional competition, which put him four shots behind the four-way tie for pro honours
