QATAR RUNNERS-UP JET STRAIGHT TO
ABU DHABI FOR INVITATIONAL

30 January 2016

The second and third-place finishers at today's Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will be teeing it up in a new country tomorrow as they turn their attentions to the Abu Dhabi Invitational.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello of Spain and Thorbjorn Olesen of Denmark finished tied for second in the European Tour event at Doha Golf Club earlier today, so will bring some sparkling form to Yas Links for the pro-am on Sunday.

Cabrera-Bello will be able to celebrate with his sister Emma tomorrow. She is one of four ladies who will be gunning for a share of the AED 1 million on offer to professionals tomorrow.

Olesen has won thrice on the European Tour and is ranked 81st in the world. And keep a close eye on Rafa, who has won in the United Arab Emirates before. He won the Dubai Desert Classic in 2012.

Other top-ten finishers in Doha to be making the trip to Abu Dhabi are Briton Lee Slattery and South African George Coetzee.
